About the event
Simply take a piece of fabric, needle and thread and make simple stitch marks on the textile. Go with the flow of your
fabric, your mind, your thought process. There is no set pattern to follow, no embroidery lines to mark up. Instead allow your innate sense of creativity to use your hands to flow across the fabric.
Slow stitching is about the process of putting a needle into a piece of fabric and leaving a mark. No plan is needed, no initial idea of
where the design is going to end up. It’s an opportunity to relax creatively, and needs no previous experience.
At Art & Soul, we have all the resources you need to start this journey. Come along for a slow stitch and drink with all materials provided for a restful experience.
