Michael Faraday (1791-1867) was one of the most influential scientists.

 

This play follows Faraday’s journey from his humble beginnings as an apprentice bookbinder to scientific prodigy and one of the greatest experimental scientists of all time.

 

In a career lasting forty years, Murray Watts has written many award winning plays for theatre and radio, and numerous screenplays for TV and film.

 

Andrew Harrison returns to Art & Soul. He began his career with Riding Lights Theatre Co. in York, and after many years as an actor is now a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4’s drama department.
