Make a cushion cover from a man's shirt

No previous sewing experience is necessary, just a positive outlook and readiness to learn. Feel free to bring any type of shirt, from cotton, denim to cord, just make sure its clean and ready to become something new!

I love a well made work shirt, the fabric, the detail and the finish are always so good. However my husband can be quite hard on his shirts and does go through them quite quickly. Sometimes the cuffs and collar can get a bit of a rough deal but the rest of the shirt can still be in really good condition.

Please can you bring along a nice work shirt that is clean and still has some life left in it. We will be working with a sewing machine to adapt the shirt into a button fastening cushion cover.
